Dumpster Rental FAQ

The questions we hear most before someone books a roll-off dumpster in Columbia, SC. Short answers, straight talk.

What people ask before booking

These are the questions we hear most from Columbia homeowners and contractors. The answers are below. If yours is not here, call (803) 783-6834 and we will answer it straight.

Sizes and delivery

We stock three sizes: 15, 30, and 40 yard roll-off boxes. Most home cleanouts fit a 15. Renovations and roofing fit a 30. Major construction fits a 40. Not sure which one? Read the size guide or just call.
Delivery is same-day or next-day across the Columbia metro. Morning calls usually land same-day. We place the box where you want it, then pick it up when you are done.

Pricing and payment

Pricing is flat-rate. We quote on the phone based on size and weight. The number on the phone is the number on the invoice. No hidden fees, no per-bag tier, no surprise at pickup.
Cards, checks, and ACH all work. Contractors with terms can be invoiced. Everyone else pays at booking.

What goes in the box

General trash, construction debris, concrete, brick, dirt, wood, drywall, roofing, and yard branches all go in. A short list of items cannot. See the full prohibited items page before you load anything you are unsure about.
Need a box for a specific job? We handle construction and commercial work with the same trucks and the same flat rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes do you stock?

Fifteen, thirty, and forty yard roll-off containers. The 15 fits most home cleanouts. The 30 handles renovations and roofing. The 40 is for major construction and commercial work.

How fast can you deliver?

Same-day or next-day delivery is standard across the Columbia metro. Morning calls usually land same-day; afternoon calls land next-day.

What's the rental period?

Long. Most jobs finish in 3 to 7 days. If you need longer, mention it when you book — we don't run a tight clock as long as we know.

What does it cost?

Flat-rate based on size and material weight. We quote on the phone. The number on the phone is the number on the invoice.

Will a dumpster fit in my driveway?

A 15 yard fits virtually every driveway. A 30 yard fits most. A 40 yard usually sits on a job site or commercial lot, not a driveway.

What can I put in?

General trash, construction debris, concrete, brick, dirt, wood, drywall, roofing materials, asphalt, branches, glass. The standard list for residential and construction work.

What can't I put in?

Tires, batteries, TVs, appliances, stumps, railroad ties, liquid paints, oils, asbestos, infectious waste, fuel, adhesives, refrigerants, mattresses, hot water tanks. Full prohibited list on the prohibited items page.

Do you take refrigerators?

Sometimes — only if professionally drained of refrigerant. Call before you load one.

Can I move the dumpster myself once it's delivered?

Please don't. The trucks place containers precisely; moving them by hand or with a tractor can damage your driveway or the container. If placement needs to change, call and we'll move it.

Do you deliver outside Columbia?

Yes — Lexington, Irmo, West Columbia, Cayce, Forest Acres, Blythewood, and the surrounding South Carolina cities are all standard service area at flat-rate pricing.

How do I pay?

Cards, checks, and ACH all work. Contractors with terms can be invoiced; everyone else pays at booking.

What if I overload the dumpster?

We'll let you know at pickup. For genuinely heavy overloads, there may be an overage line on the invoice. For most residential customers this never comes up.

Is there a contract?

No. Residential and most commercial work is project-based, no contract. If you want a recurring commercial arrangement, we'll write it up — but it's not required.
