What we drop in St. Andrews

St. Andrews is a regular run for us. We are family-owned and veteran-owned, and we have been hauling around Columbia since 2005. The number we quote is the number you pay. No surprise fuel charge at the end of the week.
We stock three sizes and nothing else: 15 yard, 30 yard, and 40 yard. Every box has swinging back doors on the end. You can walk a couch or a stack of drywall straight in instead of lifting it over the wall. Sizes and weights are listed on our roll off dumpster sizes page.
Call before noon and we can usually get a box to you the same day. Calls that come in later than that normally go out the next morning.

How we get there from the yard

Our yard sits at 1721 Pineview Dr in southeast Columbia. To reach St. Andrews we run over to I-77, connect to I-26, and come off at the St. Andrews Road and Broad River Road exits.
Off-peak that trip runs about 20 minutes, gate to driveway. I-26 backs up in the morning and again in the late afternoon, so we give you a delivery window instead of a promised minute. If the window changes, the driver calls.
Some of the older streets off St. Andrews Road are narrow, with cars parked on both sides and low limbs over the pavement. Mention that when you book. It takes two minutes on the phone and saves the driver a bad turn.

The kind of work we see in this part of the county

St. Andrews has been built out for a long time. Many of the houses are older, with packed garages, floored attics, and a shed out back. When a home sells, or a parent moves in with family, all of that has to leave at once. Those cleanouts are most of what we drop here.
Rental turnover is the other steady piece. There are a lot of rental houses and apartments through this area. Landlords call us between tenants for carpet, old cabinets, mattresses, and whatever the last renter left behind. We can leave the box for a few days while a crew works room by room. More on that on our residential dumpster rental page.
Then there is the retail side. St. Andrews Road and Broad River Road are lined with shops, offices, and small commercial space. A store reset, a tenant change, or an office remodel makes a pile fast. We run those jobs on the same flat rate as a house. See commercial dumpsters for storefront and property work, or construction dumpsters for build-outs and tear-outs.
St. Andrews is one of several areas we cover around the metro. The full list is on our locations page.

Picking a size for your job

The 15 yard is the small box. It fits one room, a bathroom gut, a cleared garage, or a small roof. It is also the right call for heavy material like tile, plaster, and dirt, because weight fills a box long before space does.
The 30 yard is what most St. Andrews jobs end up using. A full house cleanout, a rental turnover, a kitchen remodel, or a garage and attic done in the same weekend all fit here. It is the size we drop most often on these streets.
The 40 yard is for bulky material that weighs little. Store fixtures, office furniture, old siding, framing lumber, and shelving eat space in a hurry. If you are clearing a suite along one of the main roads, ask about this one.
Not sure which way to go? Walk through it with our size guide, or just call and describe the pile. We would rather size it right the first time than move a second box out to you.

Placement, access, and what stays out

Older driveways here can be short, sloped, or shaded by big trees. Tell us where you want the box and we will set it there if the truck can reach it. If the drive is tight, a flat spot along the side or near the street usually works.
Apartment and retail jobs need one extra step. Clear the spot with the property manager first and have the parking space open when we arrive. A blocked spot is the main reason a delivery gets pushed to the next day.
Some material cannot go in the box. Paint, tires, batteries, chemicals, and appliances with freon all have to be handled another way. The full list is on our prohibited items page. If you are unsure about something odd, ask before you load it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver to apartments and rental properties in St. Andrews?

Yes. We drop boxes for landlords and property managers all the time. Get the spot approved and cleared first, and let us know if the truck has to work around a tight lot. We can leave the box a few days while the unit gets cleared out.

How fast can you get a dumpster to St. Andrews?

We are about 20 minutes away at our Pineview Drive yard. Most calls that come in before noon get a same-day drop. Later calls usually go out the next morning. Traffic on I-26 can shift the window, and the driver will call if it does.

Which size do most St. Andrews jobs need?

The 30 yard covers most of them, including house cleanouts and rental turnovers. Pick the 15 yard for one room or heavy material like tile and plaster. Pick the 40 yard for bulky light debris such as store fixtures or old siding. Compare all three on our sizes page.
